From time to time life throws you a curve ball that irrespective of how well you concentrate and take your best swing at, you are going to strike out. Last year I was employed full time and was getting a good pay check. I loathed my job, my supervisor was threatened by me and I was commuting over a hundred and 20 miles a day. The supervisor had not done any of the roles she was supervising. She was the type of person that wouldn’t admit that she didn’t understand the systems that we wanted to complete in order to serve the clients. She wouldn’t raise questions and became indignant if you volunteered info. One day I required an answer to a query that she couldn’t answer. I went over her head to the director to get the solution.

This was the start of the end of my career with the agency. She made my life so bad I ultimately gave up one day and just walked out. I took a month or two off to heal emotionally from the experience.

I interviewed for a few positions that were opened, but I didn’t have the spirit to work with clients.

I was speaking to my niece’s partner and he told me I should become an affiliate and work online at home. I told him I didn’t have enough PC abilities to earn a crust off the Net. He let me know that there where many coaching opportunities online and that it didn’t take a good deal of PC talent to become an associate. He asked whether I knew how it’s possible to get round the web by doing searches through the gigantic info suppliers like Google and Yahoo.

I told him I had done searches to find general info. He explained that the majority that had a PC did these general searches. After you become an affiliate for diverse corporations you help people to find their way to the info or products that they desire. If an individual that you direct to a site buys something, you earn a commission. This seemed like it might be an engaging system to learn. I started doing a little research on the PC. I hadn’t realized that most sites have an area on their index page where you can become an affiliate. I started exploring these pages and discovered that different firms pay different percentages of sales as commissions. I found a general training session to learn the different methodologies to use the search sites to direct folks to diverse sites. It took a couple of weeks, but I have begun to get commission checks.
